What this site is
percentiles.fyi provides interactive percentile explorers and charts built on public statistical sources (for example, U.S. Census Bureau publications). The service is offered for education and exploration. It is not a government site.
Information you provide
When you use tools on the site, values you type into inputs stay in your browser unless you explicitly share them (for example, by copying a link or taking a screenshot). We do not require an account to browse or use the explorers.
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit so we can respond. Do not send sensitive personal data (such as Social Security numbers, full financial account details, or health records) through the form.
Automatically collected data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information when you request pages (for example, IP address, user agent, and timestamps). We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and performance. That product is designed to avoid collecting personally identifiable information; see Vercel's analytics privacy policy for details.
Email delivery (contact form)
Messages from the contact form are delivered using Resend. Resend processes message content and metadata needed to transmit email. We only use that information to read and reply to your inquiry.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, to measure ad performance, and to limit how often you see an ad. You can learn more about how Google uses data in ads at Google's Advertising Policies and adjust some preferences at Google Ad Settings. Where required by law, we will ask for consent before using non-essential advertising cookies.
Retention
Server and analytics data are retained according to our hosting and analytics providers' practices. Email you send via the contact form may be kept in our inbox as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records unless you ask us to delete it and we can do so reasonably.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
